The Sport - Bike Trials

Bike Trial is the art and skill of riding your bike over and between obstacles, showing balance and fitness. Ideally not touching the 'section' with anything except the bike's tyres practiced in both natural and urban environments.

Observed Trials, typically but not always practiced on natural objects which sees riders under competitive environments ride through a pre marked section of obstacles with the aim of keeping their feet and other body parts from touching the ground or obstacles.

Street Trials, As the name suggests, this is practiced on the streets and has a more freestyle nature. Scotland has enjoyed much of the spot light in this area with the rise to prominence of some of the best street trials riders in the world such as Danny MacAskill and our very own Scottish Trials Ambassador, Duncan Shaw.
